The man behind Bob McCarty Writes is, drum roll please, Bob McCarty.

More than 20 years ago, Bob went to college with Garth Brooks. Same classes. Same teachers. Same degree. In the years that followed, he served as an Air Force officer for almost seven years and as a political campaign manager, technology sales consultant and public relations guru during stints since then.

Today, Bob spends most of his time researching topics, writing about them and publishing those writings. During the remaining hours of his day, he talks to as many people as possible — including those in talk radio — about Bob McCarty Writes. To date, this blog’s mix of humor, politics, culture and capitalism has earned its founder and chief writer recognition in all forms of media.

Bob’s blogging efforts have received mentions in major newspapers, including The New York Times and Deseret Morning News (”Romney Under Pressure,” Aug. 6, 2007) and Chicago Sun-Times (Celebs venture out for eco causes, Aug. 24, 2007). Most recently, his April Fools Day prank was featured among the best of 2008 in a piece published on the CNET News Blog.

pH pHactor — Phil Parker hosts this program on KFYR-AM 550, the “Voice of the Northern Plains,” in Bismarck, N.D.;

The Randy Tobler Show — Hosted by Dr. Randy Tobler, this Saturday morning talk show airs on 97.1 FM Talk; and

World Have Your Say — This British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) program three times — usually as the lone conservative voice in a crowd of bleeding-heart liberals.
