Darró's deposit, archaeological jewel of the Iberian period, opened the public.
Near to the city of Barcelona there is located one of the archaeological vestiges of undoubted importance. The population of Vilanova - The Geltrú shelters the most notable remains of human presence in the banks of the sea Mediteráneo in this epoch. His datación makes concrete on the 5th century B.C., dates more ancient known till now, and demonstrates how and when the Iberian peoples established in these riverside regions of the peninsula. This deposit, which first excavation was realized in 1955, allows to state theories that explain the location of indigenous regional centers of wine production and ceramist in the surroundings of the Roman Tarraco. The season of public visits already was established it does more than one year, but it is in these moments when there is consolidated the space and notable presence of visitors, tourists and onlookers who are interested for the cossetanos, original inhabitants of this seaworthy villa in the region of the Garraf.
