The govt of India train is actually running late by two years. Sanjay Dutt starrer ‘Lage Raho Munnabhai’ has bagged the maximum number of four awards. Madhur Bhandarkar is the best director for ‘Traffic Signal' and 'Khosla ka Ghosla' is the best Hindi film. Best actor award went to Soumitra Chatterjee and best actress was Priya Mani.

The awards for 2007 will be announced later as the whole process has been disturbed due to the long delay in the announcement of 2005 awards, which was done last year. The delay was caused by the court orders for stay obtained by some filmmakers who had challenged the criteria for inclusion of films for consideration of awards.
