WWAOT: Susies Kitchen / Stanton, Iowa - Tenderloin Sandwich by Bryan Bruchman

According to the JLM, tenderloin sandwiches are classic southern midwest food - though they're usually fried. Susie's grilled version was delicious, and made me question the definition of a sandwich (when the meat is twice the size as the bun...). Stanton, Iowa is a tiny Swiss town with cute white buildings that we ended up in after wrong turn. I'm glad we did! Susie's Kitchen - also found in the Road Food book!

These are pictures of some of the food I ate while on the road with my band, Man in Gray.
