Passengers traveling on a Delta ASA flight bound for Atlanta from Fort
Walton Beach, FL received
a scare this morning when the plane, DL4435 shook and rolled suddenly while on initial
approach. Nervous excitement filled the cabin as sleeping travelers aboard the
plane were awakened. It was not clear why the maneuver was made and did not at
all seem to be turbulence related. While deplaning, an unnamed passenger asked
a Pilot standing in the doorway to the flight deck, why the sudden jolt.
Response heard by many? “It was that 757. Efforts have not been made yet to
contact the airline for comment.
