The Doors of Perception - a new crop circle

Take a look at this "study" of a recent crop circle, dubbed "The Doors of Perception" –for good reason. It has been compared with an illustration from Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland.

Which reminds me, ...I just saw the wonderful new film, The Last Mimzy. I loved it for many reasons: It is a brilliantly
made "feel-good Family"  film,  and it does an amazing job of bringing the 'meaning' of ancient symbols to life and linking them to the
present and future of humanity. And the child actors are totally brilliant people!

With so many explanations of "other dimensiions"–indigenous, cultural, religious, science, science fiction,
it comes down to the realization that we simply don't have a satisfactory "contemporary" language for the numinous, magical, spiritual,
supernatural 'dimensions' of reality. We have to invent our own "fresh new" cultural languages out of the old materials, and our capacity for
wonderment! But, the great story tellers help keep us from atrophying!

I just want to thank the story tellers who keep making these crop circles! I want to ask them to be patient with us! We are very slow to learn!

As one commentator said: "These weren't made by a couple of guys from the pub with a rope and a board."
