Britney Celebrates Album Release by Bailing on Fans, Regressing to Drunken, Stumbling Mess

Britney Spears planned to surprise fans lined up at the Virgin Megastore in Hollywood to buy her new album, the aptly titled Blackout, but disappeared upon arrival, running to LA hotspot Winston's to spend the night with her closest friends, Jack Daniels and Jose Cuervo. Spears' fans, likely an assortment of undercover reporters and people there on a dare, waited for their favourite trainwreck for hours, amusing themselves by mocking YouCeleb Chris Crocker, in L.A. for his fallen idol's comeback album, E! Online reports. "You're not a celebrity," fans yelled at Crocker, "You're a gross whore!" The teen from Tennessee responded with his notorious anger, screaming, "I am her number one fan, bitch!" The floundering pop star arrived at the store dressed for Halloween, though it is unclear whether she was attempting to invoke a pirate wench or Avril Lavigne in a barely-there black and pink mini dress. She left almost instantly, overwhelmed by the crowds, and headed to Winston's by 12:15 pm. According to PerezHilton.com, the unfit mother of two spent the night in and out of the bathroom, changing her outfit twice and likely engaging in other dubious behaviour.  "Her dress was so short you could see her butt," an eyewitness told Us Magazine. "She took a bunch of pictures of herself and admired herself in the mirror while dancing." Us Magazine also reports that the Spears spent much of her night sucking a lollipop and, in true form, switched outfits with a bartender. The singer was later caught on video barely able to walk, tightly grasping the hand of BFF Alli Simms. The pair was also pulled over by the cops at 2:30 am for a burned out headlight.
