Kylie Minogue announces European concert tour

London (ANTARA News) - Kylie Minogue on Wednesday announced a new
European concert tour, opening in Paris just days before her 40th
birthday next May and ending in London more than two months later.

"I am putting together a show that is going to be a new and exciting
experience for both the audience and myself," the Australian singer was
quoted by AFP as saying on her website.

The tour -- called "KYLIEX2008" after her latest album "X" -- includes
gigs in Antwerp, Stuttgart, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Cologne, Berlin,
Prague, Vienna, Budapest, Munich, Copenhagen, Oslo, Stockholm, Helsinki
and Rotterdam.

She will also play two gigs each in four British cities -- Belfast, Glasgow, Manchester and London.

Minogue cancelled her "Showgirl" tour when she was diagnosed with
breast cancer in 2005 but returned last year with the "Showgirl
Homecoming Tour". (*) END
