Weather forecasters say frosty nights are to continue. The cold conditions also pose a threat to berry crops.

This week's lowest temperature was recorded on Thursday night at Enontekijä in northern Finland where the thermometer dropped to -9.6 degrees Celsius. Temperatures fell to around -6 degrees in parts of southern Finland and further frosty nights are on the way.

I have lived now eight years here at Jyväskylä and it has been the coldest May here. It's been snowing & snow heals this week and nights hav been about -5.
