Fox News, Home of the droopy earlobe by mtippett

You can tell a lot about a TV audience by the advertisers who support it. And if you ever had doubts about the aging demographic that is the television news watching public I’d draw your attention to an ad I recently watched (in stunned disbelief) on Fox News.

If you thought the repair of droopy earlobes was a niche market you are obviously unfamiliar with their audience. Apparently the producers of ‘earlift’ have been convinced otherwise. Based on this (reluctant) viewer’s observations it seems that this is burning issues within the Fox viewing public.

The makers of earlift are now offering a (limited time) offer through the channel to rectify time stretched, sloppy earlobes. I guess that if you wear bedazzled, bejewelled or just plain heavy earrings for long enough your earlobes begin to sag and you need to start throwing some money at the problem. Man, this makes Viagra sound downright sexy.
