Frozen Tsunami Waves in Antartica
The
annual mean temperature of Antarctica is below 0c (freezing temperature
of fresh water). Salt water has a lower freezing point, depending on
the concentration. Antarctica is by far the coldest continent and some
places reach -90c.
Here are some pics of a frozen tsunami wave, which are caused by earthquakes.

Great picture but the caption and headline is misleading. A breaking tsunami wave if flash frozen would not produce the beautifully clear ice shown in the picture. The wave would be full of white water (air bubbles) and hence so would any frozen wave.
According to this http://www.julianonsoftware.com/?p=1693 that set of photos is from a glacier, where in the world I don't know.
