DNA of All Newborn Babies in the U.S. Within Six Months

While people attention has been focused on the presidential race, a bill supported by all three candidates, that will create a DNA database of all children born in the USA, has been signed into law.
President Bush last week signed into law, a bill which will see the federal government begin to screen the DNA of all newborn babies in the U.S. within six months, a move critics have described as the first step towards the establishment of a national DNA database.
Described as a “national contingency plan” the justification for the new law S. 1858, known as The Newborn Screening Saves Lives Act of 2007, is that it represents preparation for any sort of “public health emergency.”
The bill states that the federal government should “continue to carry out, coordinate, and expand research in newborn screening” and “maintain a central clearinghouse of current information on newborn screening… ensuring that the clearinghouse is available on the Internet and is updated at least quarterly”.
Sections of the bill also make it clear that DNA may be used in genetic experiments and tests.

Doctors and health officials say they're baffled over how fear of
the unknown can threaten a program with such clear benefits for
children today.
"People watch too much TV," said Dr. Piero
Rinaldo, who oversees the Mayo Clinic's newborn screening program.
"It's CSI syndrome."
The tests target a specific number of
conditions, Rinaldo said. "If you think I can extract DNA from a little
drop of blood and find out everything about you, it's just not true."
Then
there's the public health perspective. Testing newborns is like
requiring car seatbelts or putting fluoride in drinking water -- a
small inconvenience for a greater good, said David Orren, the Health
Department's chief legal counsel. "The data in the hands of public
health is very different from data in the hands of an identity thief or
hacker."

"Humanity has lost all rights to remain unique individuals forever more. Once this starts being used to eliminate the lesser chosen of the modern population in the future, those whom they (the decision makers) believe in their thoughts are the unwanted or a threat to there livelihood, shall be deemed unfit of who and what is to be part of the human race as we have know it, those whom are meant to remain will be by scientifically design individuals and not that of the design of evaluation or nature"

did anyone else notice the date that the bills was signed by bush is April 24 (2008) - this date also has a similar fate 93 years earlier in 1915 and is known for the day that the Ottoman Empire Government (currently turkey) sign the deportation Degree, which is what started the "Armenian Genocide where upward of 1.5 million people died - "COINCIDENT" - this was the date bush choose to sign this bill when it passes final vote in the house on April 8, 2008.
