I was under the impression that Judaism forbids such body "art". So this is (Sacrilegious Judeo)-Christian body art? or is that only Orthodox Judaism?
I thought such "art" prevented you from being buried in a Jewish cemetery...
any religious scholars out there?

Try checking out this website: http://www.religioustattoos.net/
It might clear up some of your questions about being sacrilegious or not, just go to the section title: Bible support for a more Christian look at body art. It's important to seperate Christian belief from that of Judaism; or as the fullfilment of the God's Law & OT Promises (Judaism) through Christ (Christianity).
