Mandatory voting retirement.

Why not? The Supreme Court of Canada agrees that people become mentally incompetant after a certain age, which is why mandatory retirement dosen't violate our Charter of Rights and Freedoms protections against discrimination.
I don't see how people can be prevented from working because they are
mentally fading, but permitted to decide the future of our Country.

The age doesn't have to be set at 65 of course, and if we all started
living longer, healthier lives someday we would probably need to raise
the legal mandatory retirement age. But with a teetering age
distribution we seriously need to address this question before
elections are decided by people unable to critically assess the merits
and demerits of their choices. Waitaminute... does this make sense?
Gimme
50 years to think about it and i'm sure i'll make up my mind.
