Black Book, director Paul (Basic Instinct) Verhoeven's drama about a Dutch Jewish singer who joins the Nazi resistance, and The Heart of the Earth (El Corazón de la Tierra), the fact-based tale of two women swept up in an environmental protest in a small mining town in 1888, will be the opening- and closing-night selections at the 24th Miami International Film Festival, to be held March 2-11.
