flickr staff continues their abuse of power [UPDATED]

Here's a short one for you. i created a THIRD account at flickr. i posted the open letter to Stewart Butterfield, deleting the names of people mentioned before posting it so that it would not be violating anyone's privacy.

There was one response. While i was correcting this person's memory of the original situation of me being deleted (he did say, forgive me if i'm wrong but), attempting to post my polite correction lead me to "bad link."

The entire posting was deleted. It lasted about ten minutes. It had no profanity, no rule breaking, no names of people, etc. It was not addressed to staff. It was addressed to the general manager. i don't think the general manager deleted it.

i went looking for my posting in someone else's "OT Open Letter" thread... it too was deleted. Not the thread, just my postings. In fact, all of my forum postings are gone.

i attempted to post again and was informed that i am not allowed to post in the forums.

It doesn't get any more obvious than this, folks.

Flickr staff, you just proved me right. Thank you.

By the way, that's Staff Michelle and Staff Heather, so far. i've seen Heather's arrogance in the forums before, directed at other people. Same with Staff George. My opinion is shared with many others. Do some Google searches. i did, just to see if it was just me who felt like the staff were arrogant and abusive power mongers. One last opinion for you: don't put much stock into the postings by a "Dr. Keats" member of flickr. He's not staff but he "polices" the forums like he thinks he is. He is, in my opinion, a troll. His postings are aggressive and rude. He also seems to like to get there first.

Yes, flickr, you have cast one too many stones from your glass house.

UPDATE:

i posted my "flickr hates me" image on my currently not yet deleted account. there were 14 views by the time i got done editing the text and tags. AND... it was marked as private. i undid that, for the moment.

 NEXT!

great job, kids.

i remind you that satire is a protected form of free speech and allows me to do what i've done with their logo as a form of expression of opinion. There are tons more on flickr and around the Internet.
