West Coast earthquake "chain reaction"?

I heard this on BC CBC Television News about an hour ago. There was
another earthquake about 6.4 magnitude off the coast of Oregon. It was
quickly mentioned as a bit of "breaking news". I haven't heard, nor seen,
anything more about this except a registered notation on the USGS
Earthquake website.

The recent earthquakes(3) which have hit off
the coast of the Queen Charlotte Islands in BC have been around the
same magnitude or greater. And they tell us to not worry about the"Big
One"?!

The fact these earthquakes have been rumbling in this
6 point magnitude over the last four days along the West Coast has me
wondering what we west coasters are in for?

Late last year
there were some ongoing vibrations off the coast of Vancouver Island
that the seismic experts called, "unusual" -- which suddenly stopped
after a couple days. Don't worry, they assured us -- it is nothing to
be concerned about. Maybe, but I think it is time to stock up on
emergency supplies...
