Witness the adventure that created the historical partnership between two young men who renewed hope for the war-wounded and hungry of Sierra Leone.

Watch Dr. Mohamed Bailor Barrie travel to the remote village of Timini in a primitive canoe to deliver a community outreach program aimed at ending severe malnutrition with education, dedication and commitment to serving the forgotten and the invisible.

Listen to Dr. Barrie as he tells the remarkable story of how one young medical student from the Bronx and one young pediatrician from Sierra Leone create the first national ngo led by a native Sierra Leonean and an American.

Consider the difficult path taken by these two young men as they keep their promise to the war-wounded and their families living in abject poverty in the blood diamond area known as Kono.  Their mobile medical clinic will soon have a permanent home as the roof is raised on Kono's first free medical clinic devoted to the invisible war-disabled community.
