Update: COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The
man who killed four people at a church and missionary training center
died of a self-inflicted shotgun wound, police said Tuesday.
Matthew Murray, 24, was struck multiple times by a
security officer at New Life Church Sunday but died after firing a
single shot at himself, the El Paso County Coroner's Office concluded after an autopsy.

The female security guard who shot a gunman who opened fire at her church has been credited with saving up to 100 lives.Jeanne Assam, a church member who volunteers as a security guard, shot Matthew Murray as he embarked on his second shooting spree of the day in Colorado.
Twelve hours earlier Murray, 24, had killed two people at a training centre for missionaries in the Denver suburb of Arvada.
He then travelled about 60 miles to the New Life Church in Colorado Springs, where he killed two teenage sisters in the car park before entering the church and being shot by Ms Assam.
