Most people think of Monty Roberts as the "horse whisperer" and quite rightly so.
But what many might not realise is that the principles he applies to horses work equally well with other animals - particularly other flight and prey animals - and also with humans.
Monty was in New Zealand last week holding demonstrat-ions throughout the country. His main aim was to help New Zealanders better understand their animals, themselves and others.

becky1234, Oh hell Becky please disgregard my "Not Good Stuff" thingamy. I wanted to add a comment to say your article was good. Somehow I've managed to do the opposite.
I LOVE YOUR ARTICLE AND I THINK THAT MONTY ROBERTS IS GREAT.
Oh it is terrible when complete dorks like me are in control of a computer!! Please accept my apologies etc. I'm going to go and read the indstructions AGAIN!

Roberts may be an accomplished horseman, but he falls short of qualifying for sainthood. Check out the book Horse Whispers & Lies, which can be read free online.
