Singapore`s population rises to record 4.68 million

The figure represents a 4.4 percent rise to 4.68 million in June from the year before, including 1 million foreigners who work in the city, according to the department of statistics website.

Singapore's resident population, including those granted permanent residence (PR) status, totaled 3.68 million, the dapartment of statistics was quoted by Thomson Financial as saying.
