Wow look who is talking about capting his country again, guess who? is David Beckham of course who would you expect? He has it all a posh wife, beautiful and wonderful kids, holywood friends, fame, respect just name it, but there is one huge service he would like to carry for queen and country before he officially say good bye to football, mind you it can be as long as it takes because he just doesn't give up not at least without a fight. Beckham or Becks as he is known here in England has been a skipper for his country 59 times during a century of international caps, he gave up the captaincy after the 2006 would Cup and was initially dropped from the squard fro around a year during the administration of the ill-fated reign of Steve McClaren's. All was not lost for Beckham at least not a place for the service of queen and country, he was recalled and even captained his country again under Fabio Capello for the friendly against Trinidad and Tobago.

David would love to captain his country again but the hot favourit understands that there are some strong candidates for the armband for queen and country. "I'd never turn it down" he said during a public appearance in America to promote the Special Olympics.

"But I'm older, I'm one of the more experienced players. Of course, if it was handed to me at any point, then I would never turn it down, but there are a lot of other candidates that are ready for it now"
