A goalless draw in the craziest group in Euro 2008. If the listless 1st half with a few stray shots by France promised a better 2nd half, it wasn't to be. France started off with Benzema-Anelka who were switched after about an hour to Gomis-Nasri who did nothing at all. Anelka looked out of sorts while the exciting Benzema appeared overawed by the occasion, unable to get some power into a couple of good opportunities. Henry missed out with a back problem, while Ribery seriously only threatened maybe once or twice.
