Man claims responsibility for Phoenix mystery lights

Update: There is extensive  coverage here of a 1997 incident that is very similiar--except that there were more lights. Does the man's statement about causing the lights display indicate that this earlier sighting was similiar? There were more lights in that episode.

Or, were the lights this time something other than his balloons and flares? People will be arguing about that for awhile.

Aw, shucks. No UFO fly-over in Phoenix, it seems.
