A BAFFLED university don who spotted a UFO over the Brecon Beacons last night said: “There is no logical explanation.”

A FLEET of UFOs has been spotted above Liverpool by HUNDREDS of people — sparking alien invasion fears.

Ex-cop Steve Rafferty, 50, saw 13 orange orbs last Monday at 9.30pm with daughter Emma, who filmed them on her mobile.

Another man captured footage and radio stations were jammed with callers reporting sightings.

A MUM who insists she was abducted by aliens on the A5 said yesterday: “I knew they would be back.”

Rosemary Hawkins, 53, recalled her close encounter on the Shropshire road after we reported a spate of new UFO sightings in the area.

She was returning from a June night out with two pals 27 years ago when their car was enveloped by a bright light they believe was a spacecraft.

They made statements to police then told separately under hypnosis how they had seen 4ft aliens dressed in green who spoke with gruff robotic-like voices.

SCHOOLBOY Shaun Williams photographed a UFO on the same day that three soldiers reported their mystery sighting.

Shaun, 12, went out to snap a light aircraft performing stunts above his home in Llanelli, South Wales, around 3.00pm on Saturday, June 7.

Later he looked at the pictures on his digital camera — and realised he had also captured a saucer shape against a clear blue sky.
