NP Rank:
Russian Mafia Now in the Dark
Who knew...I always thought the Russians were in the dark!!!
A shadow swept across Russia on Friday, delighting skywatchers who flocked to Siberia from around the world to see a rare total eclipse of the sun.
The stellar spectacle – when the moon passes between the sun and Earth – began in Canada, tracked across Greenland and crept into Siberia just after 6 a.m. ET.
It is due to end in China where some see it as a dark omen ahead of the start of the Olympic Games in Beijing next week.
In Novosibirsk, which lay directly under its path, thousands of people, some from Canada and the United States, mixed awe with excitement as day turned into night.

I was really hoping this was about the fall of the Red Mafiya. Oh well, I guess that this will work too.
