STRUGGLING STILL to MEET THIS-- "ENGLISH AS INTERNATIONAL LANGUAGE"

ENG-LISH LIFE:

Funny but these are true. English as second language becoming a demand to bilinguals.

But many have troubles using it and most are put in hot water being misinterpreted and are embarrassed using it...BUT TO BUSINESSMEN, THESE MEAN BUSINESS TO THEM. Having it intended to be wrong to capture attention as sort of marketing strategies.. ( ass (^^)  shown on engrish.com)

ASIA:

In Japan,Korea and China, many are trying hard to study and learn the language. They even spend millions to send their kids to study abroad, hoping to personally exprience the world of english and apply it daster than staying at their own country. Facts gathered were attributed to English Learning abroad and submitted by ESL TEACHERS

PHILIPPINES:

In the Philippines, studies shows that there are easy ways or access to enter the country by enrolling into a language school. The Bureau of Immigration and Deportation ( BID: www.immigration.gov.ph)  has given accreditation to many Language Schools. Majority of which are under Korean businessowners. Reasons of coming to the Philippines are due to many considerations such as; accessibility to local english speakers, more reasonable price, easy living and cheaper commodities( except for gasoline).

What an interesting contribution! I am not sure that English is as widespread or useful as people claim, and the evidence shows that even those who seem to know it can make nonsense of it. I would like to argue the case for Esperanto as the international language.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

It is a planned language which belongs to no one country or group of states. Take a look at www.esperanto.net

Esperanto works! I've used it in speech and writing in a dozen countries over recent years.

HI BillChaoman,

Nice comments...im interested to make some sort of debate that English as International language..Hmm, That this only apply to some countries and not to be considered as "one" to all!..Thankx!

As a native speaker of English I would also support Bill Chapman's comments on the need for a new global language.

I would also suggest the Esperanto website http://www.lernu.net
