Celebrating the 100 years of the Japanese immigration to Brazil I will start show some of the better Japanese cultural influences in in Brazil.
Ruy Ohtake is known for its dynamic and unusual architectural designs. Some fine examples of his projects are the half-moon-shaped Hotel Unique (considered by architecture pundit Paul Goldberger one of the seven wonders of the modern world), the Hotel Renaissance building, and commercial building Edifício Santa Catarina at Avenida Paulista - all three located in the city of São Paulo. Rui have graduated in Architecture in 1960 at the University of São Paulo and have some of the most beautiful building projected in Brazil.
