Some will say, Mentally Retarded people are classed as Mentally Challenged.  I disagree, there is a BIG DIFFERENCE, because even the Mentally Challenged to their credit are not Stupid enough to fall to this recent Real Estate Hype, Scam, Slow Media Day Report.

It's nice to see the BC. Northern Real Estate Board staffed with the Mentally Retarded on the Board who state to Vancouverites a 1,000 miles away to come to their community to buy cheap homes.  This, because it has been stated Vancouverites find it impossible for homeownership on Vancouver and the surrounding mainland where condo prices are in the 500K  should buy in the frozen north for under 200K.  Of course if your'e thinking of living and working there, well good luck with that, unless your Goal is to compete as a seaonal fishing guide with everyone else there.

With the BC Northern Real Estate Boards logic, Homes in Radiation contaminated Ground Zero in Chernobyl in the Ukraine a mere  10,000 miles away, should be a bargain at around $100.00 a pop to Vancouverites as well.

Unless you are thinking of retiring there, any Bank who would lend money to someone to purchase a house  with a 1,000 mile daily commute to and fro to Vancouver is a Bank I would be scared to leave my money with.

Even more senseless is buying a 200K house to leave abandoned in order to say they own a house a 1,000 miles away or as a investment speaks volumes on the Ludicrious state of the Real Estate Problem in this Province, as the Real Estate Bandwaggonry once again tries to part a fool with their money.

The B.C. Northern Real Estate Board has a suggestion for Vancouver-area homeowners staggering under gut-busting mortgages.

Buy a detached house in Kitimat. The community at the head of Douglas Channel has the most affordable housing in the North, the board said yesterday.

A typical Kitimat family will devote only 15.4 per cent of its pre-tax income to owning a home, the board said in a housing affordability study.
