Jesuits in Zimbabwe: "Silence Is Deadly"
While the world pays attention to Myanmar, China, and Florida; Jesuits are warning about the Zimbabwe Situation and are running a marathon in the Edinburgh Hairy Haggis Run for Zimbabwe have declared that "Silence Is Deadly". In the silence that is cuts like a knife, Human Rights Watch has asked the African Union to dispatch troops to Zimbabwe to halt the killings, the MDC has stated that unless the African Union and the United Nations steps in to halt the killings, ZANU-PF and Mugabe could win a reelection based on the Electoral Cleansing and Displacement of Communities that voted for MDC.
In response to the persecution of Anglicans, Mugabe ZANU-PF Bishop of Harare Nolbert Kunonga has been excommunicated by the Dean of the Church of the Province of Central Africa whose name is Rt. Rev. Albert Chama. In other news, COMESA [Common Market for East and Southern Africa] postponed for an indefinite time its thirteenth summit in Victoria Falls.
Jonathan Moyo has also taken Mugabe and the ZANU-PF to the Zimbabwe Supreme Court to force a run off on the 15th of June 2008. How long will people ignore the situation in Zimbabwe? The International Community debate and Zimbabwe is bleeding gradually. I think the International Community has lost all of its moral rights for ignoring what is a growing problem in Zimbabwe.

A story with a different angle of a powerful group with a vested interest in their 'stake' in Zimbabwe expressing their displeasure that all is not going well for them.
Thank you for this insight.
