This video captures Barack Obama telling an audience at a recent campaign event in Beaverton, Ore., that he had visited 57 states during his 2008 campaign. Knowing this country has only 50 United States, I decided to explain the seven mystery “states” the Democrat presidential candidate might have visited:
#1. STATE OF CONFUSION — It’s the state where Obama leaves most conservative voters;
#2. STATE OF DENIAL — Obama’s primary opponent, Hillary Clinton, maintains a dwelling in this state;
#3. STATE OF OF DISBELIEF — It’s the state in which many Americans find themselves after learning that a U.S. senator and Harvard Law School graduate doesn’t know how many states there are in the United States;
#4. STATE OF DISCONTENT — It’s home to bitter churchgoers who do little beyond sitting at home and clinging to their guns and religion;
#5. STATE OF EUPHORIA — It’s home to people who find Obama’s promises of “hope” and “change” so appealing;
#6. STATE OF ISRAEL — Though Obama’s not welcome in this state, he may have sneaked across its border with help from Hamas; and
#7. STATE OF THE UNION — Obama has visited annually since being elected to the U.S. Senate, but hopes to command more attention from the state’s “residents” next time he visits.

Actually, I do not think you listened carefully. He said he visited 57 states, had one left to go (58), and two he did not go to: Alaska and Hawaii, because his staff felt the trips would not be justified (60)! Politicians exaggerate sometimes. Speaking of math, did you hear McCain speak about his 100 years war plans? Of course, McCain later estimated an end to the Iraqi conflict would likely come in the year 2013 (the end of his term in office if elected). Talk about confusion! McCain has a few liberals wondering what happened to the other 96 years -- maybe he did some math himself and realized our country may not be able to continue borrowing for that long.
