A new website www.purdafash.com promises to change the way Indians ahve to face injustice and corruption at every step of their lives. It empowers the common masses to highlight their problems on the website.

According to Siddhartha Banerjee, co-founder, www.purdafash.com allows anyone to upload their news consisting of video/images and text that highlight their problems. Purdafash wants to empower the common masses and give voice to their problems.

The site already has videos of how 'dead people' rise to bear witness in Indian courts and how 'autowallahs' wreck their meters and cheat their customers. It also allows people to get togther on issues close to their heart and help each other out through a feature called Campaigns.

The people behind Purdafash hope that by giving opportunity to common people to expose crimes and highlight their problems, they will make the perpetrators of such crimes take notice and think before they act unfairly. They know there is no silver bullet, but even a small change for better will bring contentment of success for them.
