In retaliation for Venezuela's expulsion of the United States ambassador the Caracas, the United States plans to expel Venezuela's envoy . Earlier, Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez said that United States representation had 72 hours to leave the country.

"The plan is to kick him out," a US official, who did not want to be named, said of the Venezuelan ambassador to Reuters news agency.

Chavez said that the measure was in solidarity with Venezuela's ally Bolivia, which has also been involved in the expulsion of ambassadors with Washington. The article goes on to say that in Bolivia, the envoy was inciting protests against President Evo Morales. On Thursday, Chavez said he recalling his envoy to the United States, after telling the American ambassador: " Got to hell 100 times."

"They're trying to do here what they were doing in Bolivia," Chavez said, referring to Bolivian President Evo Morales' move to expel the US ambassador on Wednesday over 'provoking separatism' in the Latin America country.

Tensions between the United States and Venezuela have grown after Russia deployed two strategic bombers to the country. Experts say that the measure came after the United States sent warships that were delivering aid to Georgians to the Black Sea although Russian warships were in the same area, and at one point,Russian warships and American warships were in the same port.

"That's enough ... from you, Yankees," Chavz said during a televised rally. He however said Venezuela's ambassador to Washington, Bernardo Alvarez, would return to the US "when there's a new government in the United States."

Chavez has threatened to cut off oil shipments to the United States if there is any agression towards Venezuela.
